My Students

I love first graders! They are so eager to learn and share their experiences. Young children are curious and creative.

Many children are faced with challenges and obstacles.

It is my desire to provide a safe, loving, positive environment that enhances and encourages creativity.

Our school is a Title One school in a small school district. Many of my students do not have access to basic supplies. They need and want supplies that will not only enhance learning, but make learning colorful and fun!

My Project

Writing can be frustrating and difficult for young students. They need as much encouragement and support as possible. My first graders need supplies for a writing center in our classroom. My wish is to set up an organized writing center that encourages and stimulates them to write and illustrate stories.

Your generous donation will help to improve student's handwriting as well as encourage creativity.

In addition, students will gain confidence as they write, illustrate and share their stories and experiences.

First graders are extremely creative and love to tell stories about their favorite people and things! In addition, students love to have adequate supplies available for their use.

I envision sharing their writings in class newsletters, on our hall strip and in class books to place in our class library.
