Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is made up of 20 amazing learners. They come to class ready to learn despite the obstacles they face prior to stepping foot in the classroom. We are a Title I school and almost all of my students are English Language Learners. My students love coming to school because I make learning fun. My students work hard each and every day. Unfortunately, they need supplies that I can't provide. This includes having Scholastic and Science Magazines to use during literacy and science time.

My Project

This table will provide hands-on learning opportunities that are engaging and fun! Students love using dry erase markers and boards. What's better? A table for small groups to work through problems, learn to write and then be able to easily edit their work to build their confidence and success.

My students will be excited to have a full table to explore their thinking and show evidence of their work!

We will also use during guided reading to learn to decode words and strengthen vocabulary and comprehension.

I'm very excited to bring this interactive, engaging equipment to my classroom learning environment!
