This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hardworking, bilingual students are how I would describe my students. They are all unique and bring positivity and creativity to the classroom. My students are transitioning from writing Spanish to writing in English. I will show them how to write by modeling writing assignments in chart paper.

My Project
As a class, we are writing poems, narratives, letters to each other, and much more. Writing on paper is a skill and a form of expression my students should have in their toolbox. As their teacher, I need to model self-expression through writing. Unfortunately, writing on a small note is not enough. It is becoming too difficult for my students to see my letters. Help me share and teach self-expression through writing. Let’s help my students express their creativity and demonstrate their knowledge through writing.
