My Students

We love to learn! These students can't wait to see what school and the world have in store for them and are so enthusiastic about learning! They are highly active and very energetic. They love to be hands-on and communicate with one another.

Our classroom is filled with 25 bright, beautiful, and blooming first graders who have a thirst for learning as much as they can each and every day.

Our classroom is located in Western Pennsylvania.

In our room, it feels comfortable, looks bright, and has constant movement, just the way we like it! It is an environment that welcomes all children and they love being here! I love it, too!

My Project

A kidney shaped table in primary grades makes a huge difference when the teacher is working with students. By having this table in our classroom, I will be able to work with small groups of students and see exactly what each child is doing all at the same time. I can watch the students work and easily see if they are struggling or need enriched! The great thing about this table is if my little learners make mistakes, they can easily wipe them away!

This is perfect to reinforce having a growth mindset!

We learn from our mistakes!

This will help build confidence in these first graders, which is essential for them to reach their potential. This table has endless possibilities. In reading we will use it for conferencing, practicing phonics patterns, writing, spelling, guided reading, and more! For math, we will use it for practicing numbers, addition, subtraction, fractions, and shapes! In social studies we can come up with lists of ways we will spend and save money, create maps, and more! This table will make a difference in our classroom because it is highly engaging!
