Let’s Work Out Without Weights

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an archery coach for elementary and junior high students. Most of the students who participate are not your typical athlete. This makes it a bit of a challenge to make them lift weights for upper body strength.

I feel if I were to introduce the strength bands rather than weights, students would be more likely to want to work out.

Our program is mainly based on fundraising through the schools season which makes it difficult to buy needed supplies. These bands would be of much support for students to be successful during our archery season.
