This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students spend a significant amount of time in classrooms. And it is important to me to make sure my students feel welcomed in our shared space.
The addition of light covers, inspirational posters, and basic classroom materials will ensure that all students will feel at home in our classroom.
The light covers relieve stress, the posters motivate, and the basic classroom materials provide the tools needed for success while prioritizing mental health and safety. And once that comfort is there, true learning can happen. My students will be inspired to take risks even though the journey may be a little bumpy... We greatly appreciate any and all generosity.
