My Project

Which weighs more, grams or kilograms? For students here in the US, this can be a foreign concept since they are mainly exposed to customary measurement. Students need to be able to feel the weight difference and be able to compare that weight to other objects around them. Learning these concepts with a workbook is just not practical.

This project would provide my students with gram and kilogram weights so they will be able to feel the actual weight in their hands.

It will also add two different types of scales to my collection giving students the ability explore various ways to measure mass and weight.

Mrs. Khokhar will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 21.
