This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are always working to overcome new objectives and achieve their goals. Understanding grade-level material does not come easy. My class is made up of students with learning disabilities that make learning new concepts a constant challenge. With lots of hard work and motivation, my students are able to achieve the impossible.
My Project
My students have learning disabilities or health impairments that make grade level content difficult. They are constantly being pushed to better themselves and achieve their goals. We are surrounded by so much technology that can help them improve and grow, but sadly not every child has access to it. These iPads will get me a step closer to providing this incredible technology for my students.
Students that are beginning readers use things like immersive reader to have assignments read to them and dictate to turn their words into writing.
The iPads will also give my students the ability to use RAZ-Kids, which gives students access to thousands of books that help them practice their reading skills. In math, they will have access to many math apps that will make practicing their new taught skills fun.
