it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the ESOL Liaison at Gocio, I work with students who speak many different languages. When they first arrive, school can seem a little scary. We want all of our students to feel welcome and secure!
These Pocket Talk translators will help me communicate with new students and make sure they feel safe and ready to learn at their new school!
It will also help me and other teachers better communicate "on-the-go" with parents when they have questions and concerns. When parents feel connected to their child's school, everyone wins!
