Let's Talk Tech Storage!

Help me give my students a way to organize and update our classroom technology! We would love to be able to add functional headphones and a place to store and charge our shared classroom devices.

My Students

I have 21 amazing children who are all 5 years old! We have 11 girls and 10 boys in our class this year. We live in a rural area on the eastern shore of Maryland not too far from Annapolis. We have children from two-parent families, single parent families, and several who speak English as a second language. About 30% of our class gets free or reduced-price meals, and a few take home a bag of food each weekend from our local Backpack Club food pantry program. These boys and girls are excited to learn and are extremely hard workers who like to please their teachers! These children are excited to learn and grow in their first full-day school experience!

My Project

Last year, thanks to Donors Choose, our classroom received two tablets to share to add some technology to our classroom resources.

We would love to have a place to organize our available technology devices while also creating a better place to charge them.

Additionally, our headphones need to be replaced so they work consistently and are easily functional for young children. My students will use these headphones and tablet storage station daily!

Children use our tablets for reading and math practice as well as kindergarten readiness assessments. Gaining a storage and charging station along with new headphones would definitely make these items fully functional and more accessible to my students!
