My Students

I teach third grade in a very rural district. Students in my classroom are continuously working in small groups, and they also often lead discussions. I have nineteen students that transition from whole group instruction to individualized, small group instruction throughout the day.

I want students to always be engaged in whatever area I am teaching.

When students are excited to learn, it's a success in my class! I want my students to have experiences that they will remember forever!

My Project

My students would benefit so much from the Osmo Pizza game and other Osmo games. The Osmo Pizza game will help students count change for customers after they make pizzas for them. It makes counting change more realistic and gives students many opportunities to practice.

These games will be used as an interactive way to teach math skills and financial literacy!

My students have enjoyed working with our Osmo. However, right now we just have the basic starter kit.The Osmo set with pizza game offers them the opportunity to practice real life skills using a technology they are already familiar with in the classroom. With these resources, my students can build basic skills that will lead to a brighter financial future!
