My Project

I use toys and play as a way to talk about difficult topics with my students. I have 1st, 2nd, and 4th-grade students. I see students for all topics that are important to them. Sensory toys are very calming for children that are unregulated. A child will often need time with a fidget toy before they are able to talk about what upsets them. I would love your assistance with some supplies to help my students regulate and process so that they can succeed in class. A child cannot focus on school work if they are distracted by their thoughts and emotional state.
