Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students are unique in their personalities, experiences, and abilities. As such, all students deserve tools and resources that will meet them where they are and help them reach our shared end goal in a positive way! I am requesting copy paper, tabletop easel pad, color cardstock and other fun resources for emotional regulation, intervention, and self-expression!

Self-expression and comfort are key to ensuring a welcoming, safe space for all students.

The resources in this project are specifically chosen to outline entry points for students who may not have the same abilities or comfort-level with certain tasks. These tools will assist students in connecting with peers, self-regulating, and tackling new tasks.

Blank cards, posters, and art supplies provide students a tool to communicate ideas and thoughts that may not be possible verbally. The variety of printer paper will ensure that I have the means to provide access to tons of resources! Sensory fidgets, timers, and strips will fill add to our calm corner to guarantee a space for thinking and working through our emotions.
