My Project

My class is a group of very creative and curious 5 year olds who love to explore the world around them and engage in imaginary play.

My students learn through play and these materials will allow numerous opportunities for them to further learning and exploration outdoors through outside play.

The mud kitchen will be a wonderful addition to our new upcoming sandbox that will encourage imaginative play. Students will also have opportunities for sensory play and building, as well as improving fine and gross motor skills with the large sensory bin, waffle blocks, and balance beam. The blocks will take construction to a new level as they build forts and houses. I can already imagine the kids balancing on the beam like they do with their chalk lines. The variety of play materials will allow students the opportunity to use their imagination and will help continue the excitement they have for learning.
