This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We would love your help in having a Lenovo Laptop to add to our classroom. This will allow us to take virtual class trips. It will expand our home-school connection by inviting parents to join us remotely when we visit countries our families are from. We will talk about the different kinds of people, clothing, and traditions we can find in each country. This is the platform to build a culturally responsive classroom and develop empathy for each other no matter what someone looks like. It will help us understand that no matter where we come from or what we look like that we are all equal and should treat each other as such.
