My Students

The purpose of our Pre-K program is to prepare developmentally delayed preschoolers for kindergarten. Each child has an IEP (Individual Education Plan) designed to promote students' academic, physical, social, emotional and/or independent functioning development.

Many of our students come from low income families.

We have many students being raised by someone other than their own parents.

My class, which is one of three ESE Pre-K classroom, is made up of special needs children with varying exceptionalities, ages three-five at a Title I public elementary school.

My Project

Kid Kraft Building Bricks Play N Store Table will provide the students with a place to build and store all the great LEGO sets we have been lucky enough to receive through DonorsChoose projects and generous donations.

The Kid Kraft table will be so much more than a table as it will be where imaginations are expanded and careers are born.

Having a place specific for these sets will increase students wanting to use them on a daily basis.

LEGO bricks are the one thing that my students love to use to spark their creativity and imagination as well as work together.
