Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The awesome students at our school come from very diverse backgrounds. We have diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, but some of our similarities are: many of us qualify for free and reduced-price lunch, many of us speak English as a second language or do not speak English at home, and we all love to be hands-on, artistic and creative during science class. We want an opportunity to study science that can impact the world and show us what scientists are doing in real careers. That is why we want MudWatt kits that allow us to experiment with science with innovative, inspiring technology that helps us to envision science as a subject filled with possibilities and curiosity!
We are all students with big dreams!
We want to be scientists, engineers, doctors, teachers, and a million other things! Please help us achieve our goals!
My Project
These MudWatt kits are celebrated by teachers who have used them in the classroom as engaging, innovative, and informative- a perfect way to get students involved in hands-on science experiments. Small groups of students will have the opportunity to experiment and practice innovation in the field of environmental science.
These kits allow students to get messy and see how scientists on the cutting edge of creativity and innovation do science every day.
I am excited to see students get a chance to make decisions on how to make these experiments their own. And the best part is these kits are reusable year after year and can give a new experience each time!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
