Help me give my students Magnatiles for building and exercising creativity at home!

My Students
Our Norfolk, Virginia pre-K students are amazing and resilient! We are located in a dedicated military town. All students have risk factors that qualify them for our program. I see the sparkle in their eyes when they login into the computer. Distance teaching is challenging, but with hands-on materials, we can help them thrive!
My Project
The most desired choice of materials in our Pre-K classroom is Magnatiles. In order for our youngest learners to have a quality virtual experience, they need quality materials at home during this pandemic. These magnet shapes are so versatile! The students are amazed that they stick together learning the properties of magnetism while building a structure or art form.
Included in this set of Magformers are a variety of colorful magnetic shapes.
What fun it is for them to have their structure stay together with the help of magnets! I am truly amazed at what such young children are capable of building when given these to explore!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
