Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Earlier this year, we had a project funded with some wonderful STEM materials. In fact, not only do my students in my classroom love them, other classes as well. We've teamed up as a small school to do weekly rotations that allow students to experience activities in other classrooms. My classroom focuses on STEM and we need additional materials to keep everyone engaged.
More materials means more hands on the activity!
This project is for additional Brain Flakes so that we can continue to build projects with larger groups. And that storage containers are needed so that we don't lose our materials. Additionally, we tend to make many more hands-on manipulatives, thus the need for laminating sheets and velcro. With your help and donations, more students in my school will benefit from the wonderful hands-on activities that STEM offers.
