This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is fun but rigorous for the kindergartners. We use many items in the classroom that are shared not only with each other but with other classes. Can you just imagine the amount of germs we have?

My students all come from low income and 100% receive free lunch.

They are such a fun and lovely bunch that deserve every chance to get a great education. We are always washing our hands throughout the day and are always running out of the being "clean" supplies. Please help us say healthy for the rest of the school year.

My Project

The children love to use hands-on materials but with the flu season, it’s hard to keep the classroom germ free. I am hoping to have hand sanizter at each learning station so that they can use it before and after each learning station.

Also using the baby wipes will help keep the tables and their community supplies clean as well free of germs.they love to work as groups but it’s hard during this season with the little ones.

This helps them learn the importance of keeping germs out of the classroom while at the same time continuing to learn in a fun environment.
