This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

This fall I will begin my twentieth year of teaching and my first year teaching twenty-three, kindergarten children.
My students will be busy little bees excited to learn everyday! My students come from diverse cultural backgrounds. My students come from a very high poverty area.
I am asking for classroom storage and bulletin board supplies for setting up my first time kindergarten classroom this fall.
My Project
The classroom supplies that I am requesting will help my students be organized learners. The color coded bins will help children keep supplies at their tables. The color coded book boxes will give the children a place to find exciting boos to foster a love of reading. The binder bookshelf will give students a place to keep a binder with individualzed independent work. The bulletin board supplies will give the children a colorful classroom to enter every morning. The magnetic writing page will give students the opportunity to see the correct formation of letters and numbers that is an essential skill for kindergarten students to master.
