Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classroom is a safe-space, it's our home. In our room, all children are welcome. Everything we do is anchored in our core values. These include growing into amazing humans, being the change our world needs, and understanding we are capable of doing anything, regardless of our obstacles.

The students in my classroom are culturally and linguistically diverse.

I service the English Language Learners in a low-income school. Students, regardless of age or background thrive to be their absolute best, and as their teacher and confidant, I work to facilitate this.

My Project

Almost 90 students utilize our elementary ELL room each day. Our room is their home at school, it's their safe haven. The light filters will help create a warm and inviting space for students to learn and grow and the phonics resources will provide fun practice as we master new skills. As the ELL teacher, I've provided so much for my kids, as far as resources but now I need your help. My students need tools to help differentiate instruction to meet their needs. My students mean the world to me, and I'd give them just that if I could. I believe these resources will help them grow and learn in new and exciting ways.
