I want to create a sensory space to support my students with disabilities. This space will provide a calm and safe environment for the students to regulate their sensory needs.
To make this project a reality, we need items such as headphones, sensory fidgets, and calming toys.
These resources will greatly benefit students who may require a quiet space for focus and relaxation. Students will be able to regulate their emotions in a calming environment before returning to class. This will be a valuable resource for my students.
Given the low-income students served in our school building, any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in enhancing the learning environment. Your support in this endeavor would be immensely appreciated.
