This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Classrooms should be student centered and inspired. It is essentail for student sto have the freedom to move around and work in groups. Learning centers and group work are important to learning and developing.
I would like to remove my teachers desk and replace it with a standing desk.
This would provide more room to focus on my students. The area that would be freed would provide more room that is needed. I would also be able to freely move this standing desk around the room to create different centers when needed.
Students would observe that our classroom was not focused on a large teacher desk in front of the room but on them and their needs to be successful leaners.
