My Students

I am building a small class set of iPods for my students in math/science. I want to give every student the opportunity to use new technology in class. By having a small class set, students will be able to work in groups with the use of iPods.

My students are eager to learn.

I want to give them every possible way of learning so that I can reach all different learning styles. Many of my students learn by doing or seeing. They come from backgrounds where they may not have the opportunity to use a device such as an iPod.

My Project

I want to give my students the opportunity to learn using technology. By having a larger set of iPods in my classroom I will be able to form more than just one small group with my students. They will be able to use the iPods to help with learning math facts, exploring science and by using problem solving strategies to solve problems. This will also help students who are visual learners to understand with a hands-on experience.

By donating to my project you will be helping more students in my classroom build confidence in math and science.

More students will have the opportunity to use iPods in the class by adding to the small class set I currently have. By having more iPods in class, this will also help students become more prepared for technology outside of the classroom. By donating to this project I will be able to reach a larger number of students in my classes.
