My Students
You know how you love using the latest technology, our tiniest learners seek computer time too!. We need enough computers and interactive programs that bring fun creative ways to nurture their first school experience.
My students are hungry for knowledge that will get them ready for college.
My transitional kindergarten and kinder class is very dynamic and they are a community of scholars with very different needs. Many of my students are second language learners and come from low socioeconomic families that don't have technology at home. Our schools need to provide access to innovating technology that will promote technological know-how independence in their everyday classroom experiences to carry their learning to the next level.
My transitional kinder kids are fun loving, motivated and inquisitive young learners ready to explore their new classroom. They need to develop a strong foundation before entering kindergarten and an additional computer will ensure that everyone gets a turn on the fun as they develop a love for learning.
My Project
In our combination classroom, my transitional kinder students need lots of support and access to educational websites can reinforce my students' learning. My project will help differentiate instruction and my students will use the computer individually at various times throughout the day to reinforce concepts. A computer will help provide my students with technology that can make practicing a variety of skills a pleasure instead of a chore. My tiniest of knowledge seekers will use a variety of games and applications to review the alphabet, phonics, and reading, as well as beginning writing activities. These programs I selected promote literacy. Thus, reading can be even more engaging when it's interactive.
Helping with this project will make my students' learning experience even more fun and fulfilling.
Technology will be an important part of their educational future. These supplies add so much to my students' classroom experience. Our 21st century learners need an interactive component at school.
