it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of book baggies is a crucial practice for improving reading skills in kindergarten. Providing book baggies with the storage baskets, envelopes, and card stock is an easy way for teachers to encourage valuable at-home reading time and set kindergarten students up for reading success.
When students are able to take books home in their book baggies to read with their families, it reinforces the reading skills they are developing in the classroom.
Reading at home with a familiar adult helps build fluency, comprehension, and a love of reading. Consistent reading practice, both at school and at home, is one of the best ways to ensure young students make progress in their early reading abilities.
