My Project

The major item on my wishlist is a futon for my classroom! I have seen futons work effectively in classrooms by providing students a comfortable area to sit and complete work. Some of my students also have a hard time sitting still in a hard chair all day. This futon would provide a cushion for active students to sit, stand, and move around while working on assignments in class.

I am also asking for two tables, so the students have a hard surface to work on by the futon couches.

These tables give students the opportunity to work on their assignments while also sitting in the comfort of the futon. The last item on my list is contact paper. This contact paper will be placed on top of the tables in the classroom, to give students choice in working with Expo markers or pencil/paper for individual or group work time.
