The students I teach are extremely motivated and willing to learn. They come from a very poor socioeconomic area and do not have the same opportunities that others have.
My kids are the ones who do not go home after school, they go to work to support their parents.
My kids try as hard as they can and the instruments they are using often hinders their progress.

My Project
The various books I have asked are for sight reading. In the band world, spring time is known for concert festival. When a band goes to concert festival we have to take 3 pieces of music prepared and then we have to sight read one piece for some judges. The students have worked extremely hard so far and they deserve to get a good score.
When I was in school, we used these sight reading books and we always did well at the sight reading event.
I want to continue the use of these books with different students so they have the opportunity or grow like I did in school.
