Help me give my students the tools to help the earth!
My students need a large recycling bin for collecting water bottles and cans for their vocational job. They are counting and sorting the cans and bottles.
My students are ages 10-21 years old and have special needs. Some of my students are non-verbal and use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to help them communicate with others.
Having a big recycling bin on wheels will allow my students to wheel it from room to room and have the opportunity to engage in conversations with other classrooms.
They have a vocational job of collecting bottles and cans throughout the school, sorting them, and counting them. This gives them the opportunity to work on their communication skills, working as a team, working on math skills and helping the environment!
