Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are designing and building their very own cardboard roller coasters to better visualize the differences between potential and kinetic energy. They have a set of parameters and a marble will become the “passenger.”
We do need los of hot glue and scissors to help to create a coaster out of cardboard.
Before building posters and markers are necessary to draw the designs, while anchor charts give them reminders of key concepts. It’s a competition so prizes such as a game and toys are necessary. Of course wipes, tissues and hand sanitizer make what will make the busy and messy classroom experience just a bit cleaner.
