it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help my students get some snacks to help them focus and learn successfully. These snacks will also rebuild the energy needed before and after their gym workouts! Students are more open to learning when they have a full belly. It is always necessary to have a snack available for students. I want my students to know that they can always pass by my office to pick up a snack throughout the day, especially after their gym class.

My students expressed a need for snacks to help keep them alert and motivated to learn, especially after they exercise and play sports in gym class. Since we have a large population of students, snacks seem to disappear from my office.
A snack is such an important part of a student's day. They get even hungrier after working out. They are playing volleyball now in gym class. It is such a high impact sports that a lot of them come to me starving. Not having a snack available to them made my heart hurt for them. Since the weather is getting nicer, students go outside for gym class. They love being in the school yard and play with more enthusiasm. Now more than ever, they need food to regain their energy after 45 minutes of working out.
