This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students and I see discarded recyclable water, juice and soda can water bottles around campus. We often see the recyclable beverage bottles in trash cans. Recycling is important. We already have a recycling bin, so our school is recycling. We are happy because we recycle at school! Unfortunately, there are times that the recyclable bottles collected in this bin are sticky or dirty. This project has spray bottles. Having spray bottles will be great! We will use them to clean the sticky and dirty recyclable bottles. We will also use the spray bottles to clean our recycling bin when it gets dirty and sticky.

We are proud that we recycle at school!

These spray bottles will help us keep our school recycling initiative going strong. Thank you for supporting my student's interest in recycling and keeping our recycling bin clean.
