My Project

Our little school is working towards getting a book vending machine....Yup, you read that correctly! How cool is it going to be that our Pre-K through 8th graders are going to be able to earn a token throughout the year to spend at the book vending machine by showing they are following their BRAVE traits and being safe, respectful, and responsible?!

Once the child earns a token, they will be able to go to the book vending machine and "buy" whichever book looks appealing to them.

It will be so special that they will get to take these books home to share them with their families and keep them forever! As a school organization, our focus is instilling the love of reading in all our students and what better way by allowing them to earn their favorite books? There will be books for every student from picture books to novels! The opportunity for students to earn books as a reward will get the students excited about reading again, and hopefully make them want to read outside of the school setting.
