All students were able to take their books home and read with their families during the holiday week, to provide a school community and family connection through the joy of reading. \r\nDuring the Thanksgiving Break, families read a chapter or two per day and even joined in with Principal Wollberg for a Facebook Live reading of some of the chapters! Then as we came back to school after the break, we continued to read each chapter and had several fun activities to go along with the books, that fostered empathy and kindness towards others. This was a wonderful experience that the entire school could participate in to promote reading and demonstrate empathy and kindness. \r\nThank you for supporting our students through your donation!
