This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Books are a hot commodity in our classroom these days! I would love to fill our classroom library with books that the students love to read independently. All of the books that were chosen were chosen with care as I have noticed that these are books that are popular and always checked out from the school library. Hence, sometimes my students cannot get their hands on them. I'd love for my students to have a place in my classroom to go to so that they have access to books that are near and dear to them.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them and I would love them to read for fun. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
