Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For our first unit we read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. The students love this book! I would love to give my students the opportunity to read the second book after finishing the first. As well as options for my Spanish speaking students to read this book in their native language.
There is also a graphic novel that the students can use and love!
It breaks down the text into a more fun to read, action pack book. I currently only have 10 copies of these books which is not enough to make a class set. Please help me get a class set of these great graphic novels!
