Students will be given a chance to read print materials from a magazine. With our world being digital, I think that a Time for Kids subscription will allow my students to be able to learn from a different source. My students will be able to build upon second-grade skills such as identifying text features, exploring science topics, and building critical thinking skills while answering questions. This subscription will also allow my students to learn about different cultures and current events in a way that is engaging for them. This would be a great addition to our classroom learning.
