My Project

My students love reading, but most of them are stuck on one genre type. I find that many of my students prefer fantasy books with magical occurrences that couldn't really happen. I would love to give them the opportunity to read Clementine as a class. This story is a realistic fiction novel about a third grader who tries to do her best, but often makes mistakes. I feel like most of my students can relate to this story and will find it silly and entertaining. If all goes as planned, reading this book as a class, will spark a love for reading and all my students will want to read the whole set!
