Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my special education classroom, we are reliant on adaptive materials to further our understanding of material being presented. Unlike our neurotypical peers in middle school, our comprehension levels are not as high. My student require material that is simplified and easier to understand in order to grasp the material being presented.
With Teachers Pay Teachers, I am able to find material that has been created by fellow teachers that has been shown to work in their classrooms.
Not only does this gift card allow me to purchase, print, and generate material that is beneficial for my students, it also allows us to support other teachers by purchasing materials that they have developed during their own free time.
The materials that I will be able to purchase and generate with this gift card will allow me to create multiple task boxes, folder work, and other hands on experiences for my students to increase their understanding and enjoyment in our learning activities.
