My Students

My students are a fourth grade students in an urban district in Southwest, Michigan. My students are eager to read, write, and strengthen their brains. We work hard to provide them with a high quality education as well as partnering with organizations in our community to connect our families with the support that they need to become stronger families.

For my fourth graders, school is a safe learning environment.

This is how we learn best. We are young, busy, and we all learn in different ways. We ask a lot of questions and we notice everything around us. We are active, curious, and excited about learning.

My Project

All of my students want to learn about new and exciting science. Not only will they be able to read about Science, but they can also create projects. Super Science magazine supports anchor standards in science, reading and writing. Every issue comes with two hands-on projects. In these scientific investigations, students will plan and carry out experiments, collect data and draw conclusions. Each one is easy to set up and requires only affordable, easy-to-find items. PLUS the engineering challenges give students a chance to innovate by designing solutions to problems addressed in the magazine.
