Help me give my students books about jazz music and Black history to pique their interest.

My Project
I have the privilege of teaching music to kids ages 3-14 in an inner city school. Our students are brilliant in many ways. I am requesting books which will interest our students. Reading about the origins and history of jazz will a beneficial activity for all age groups. Oftentimes, the kids love music, but reading, not so much.
These books will give our students a positive experience with literacy, because the books are about a subject they love.
The jazz books will pique the interest of our students. They will be reading real stories of famous jazz musicians. Reading and discussing true stories about musicians who look like them will keep them wanting to read! The Black history book will give us more understanding behind the music, as well as tidbits of knowledge they really want to learn, which will have a lifelong positive impact. Thank you for supporting students of all ages and abilities with new books about jazz and Black history.
