My Students
My students are becoming Super Readers! Even though most of my students come from backgrounds that haven’t emphasized education, we are working on changing that attitude. In my classroom, we embrace books, and we spend time reading books of our choice every day. We are inspired by each other's reading, and we share book talks and rich conversations about books.
My students are incredible young people who are going to change the world!
We have been reading books and stories about young people who have made major changes in their communities and even the whole world. I can't wait to see what each and every one of my students do for our world!
My Project
Just Mercy was an amazing movie! I know, I'm sure the book is better! My students need to know this story. I'm so glad there is a young adult version for them.
Just Mercy is a book that everyone needs to read.
These copies will allow the book to circulate through all of my classes faster. They also make it possible for me to run a reading group using them. Or I can host a book club using the book! I am so excited about all of the options I will have with these copies of Just Mercy.
