My Students
My students are a group of highly energetic and motivated First Graders. They love to learn and delight in sharing their knowledge with others. My students come from diverse backgrounds and our school is located in a high needs area. With that in mind, I want to give my students every advantage that I can to be successful and reach their full potential. We learn from one another on a daily basis and strive to be cognizant of what we can do to help others through learning and caring.
My Project
We are using a phonics program in our classroom that has many parts for the students. Keeping the materials organized has been difficult and frustrating for them. As a result we have spent a great deal of time managing our supplies instead of using them. That being said, the students love the program, but they aren't feeling the "fun" in the program. By donating to this project you will help my students be more engaged and successful in their learning. Your donation of chair pockets will allow the students to manipulate materials easily and use them to the best of their ability. Thank you!
