I work at a STEM charter school where my students come from a variety of different kinds of families and socioeconomic statuses. What is common amongst them though is that they come from families who support their learning and engagement from home to school and back again. They come to school for the chance to have fun exploring new subjects with their friends. My students have just turned 5 or 6 and are in Kindergarten with an amazing energy that drives learning to be fun and interactive.
My students love of learning energizes me and makes me want to be the best teacher I can for them.
They love to be physically engaged in whatever subject they are learning, thus making learning more fun for them.
My Project
These resources will make a difference in my students lives by providing safe ways for us to do experiments with safety googles, fun ways to explore engineering with the building of magnetic tiles and excite our brain through the reading of STEM stories suited just for them.
