Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a predominantly Hispanic community. The majority of my students are living below the poverty line, and many live with extended family members in a small home. Many of my students share a small bedroom with 2 or 3 other children or adults. Life is not easy for my students, but they work hard and always try their best.

What I love most about my students is their drive, energy, and enthusiasm.

They are the reason I do what I do. I have a passion for teaching because of them.

My Project

The Epson DC-13 High Definition Document Camera with HDMI will be used to deliver vivid and engaging lessons to my third graders.

Distance learning this fall, will be a challenge for my students and I, but with a good document camera, I will be able to help my kids stay focused and alert.

While teaching and learning from home is not ideal, I will work my hardest to help my students succeed academically. Sharing vivid and rich lessons will engage my students and hold their attention. This will be a unique journey, and I will do everything in my power to make the best of it.
