My Students
This year's students are full of energy, life, and excitement. My students love interacting and collaborating. They arrive each day ready to learn and persevere. Our school is a Title I school that caters to a 50% military student population. It is very transient and students come from a variety of places and ethnic backgrounds. This allows for meaningful discussions where students can learn about one another. They approach each day with the willingness to help one another and work together despite their backgrounds.
My Project
Safety and health is my number one priority during this time. I would like to provide my students with the best possible chance at learning in-person while being safe. This will not only keep my students safe while sitting at their double desks but also let parents know that I am doing all I possibly can to help. These clear dividers will not only help protect my students but also allow them to see the board while sitting at their desks. Our school previously had cardboard dividers which were bulky and made it difficult for students to see around.
