Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is special to me because it is my first-year teaching! My school is a Title I school, meaning most students are from low-income households. Prior to this I was a paraprofessional who saw many students come to school with little or no supplies.
My class this year has students with a variety of skills and capabilities: creating this project to allow us to have a printer in our classroom is the first step in helping them do their best.
Another reason I created this project is to ensure all my students have equal opportunities to learn and grow throughout the school year, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Allowing both myself and my co-teacher to print out activities for our students.
I want my classroom to be a fun learning environment where my students are excited to come each day!
