My students need supplemental work to expand their learning. My students enjoy using the variety of resources obtained online that aid in their learning.

My Students

Most of my students come from single parent homes with low-income and high poverty. My students face a multitude of challenges in their neighborhoods and homes. However, our classroom is one where my students know that they are safe and can enjoy being a kid.

My students are eager to learn.

They enjoy talking about what they've learned each day. They encourage each others' accomplishments with a round of claps and encouraging words. I look forward to each new day of learning with them.

My Project

My students lack curriculum that challenges them to the fullest in all subject areas. To aid in this deficiency I use supplemental resources that are found online. However, all of the resources that I find online need to then be printed.

Our school does not supply us with ink or printing paper to aid in this endeavor.

However, I want to be able to increase my students' learning with the current resources that are available online for all class subjects. I use fun and engaging activities during student centered learning. These activities that are obtained from online resources are numerous.

Printing, copying and preserving the resources are beneficial to my students. Using sheet protectors allow me to further preserve the resources neatly for use in the future with my students.
