This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
First, the cave drawings, then stone carved tablets and a monk bent over an old parchment with a quill pen in hand, all told a story. My class would love to move into the 21st century and to do this we need a new printer.
I teach a fun, eager and enthusiastic class of twenty seven fifth graders in an urban southern California school.
As with a lot of schools these days our equipment is old and out dated. Technology is no longer an option but a necessity for our students to succeed in the modern world.
My Project
This class loves to write, create tall tales and tell stories. We have a huge problem. It's our vintage printer. It's lovingly called "Old Ben" because we think it was used by Benjamin Franklin. As you can see, this class has a sense of humor! My class would love to have a printer that will allow them to publish their beautiful reports and colorful stories.
A new printer will help my class publish fantastic projects.
